Science Stations

 

  • ► Sort It – students will sort and name the phases of the moon. These are actual photos (not clipart) of the moon.

 

  • Read It – at this station the students will read about recent discoveries about the moon and answer questions on their comprehension.

 

  • Research It – here the students use a computer and navigate to a reliable news source where they learn about lunar eclipses.

 

  • Infer It [lunar] – students must make inferences from photos at this station.

 

  • Match It [seasons] – this is a differentiated station. Students must match the season to the correct image of the earth’s orbit. Both northern and southern hemisphere examples are used.

 

  • Infer It [solar] – students must make inferences from photos at this station.
