Science Stations

  •  Watch It – What is Life? This video gives a wonderful introduction to this topic and is perfect as an engagement activity. This station will require a computer with internet access to view the video.

  • Describe It – Cells Observation. This activity lends itself well to a science station. You can get them to describe all or some of the cells depending on time. 5 photos showing both unicellular and multicellular cells are included.

  • Label It – Label the Microscope. A lovely activity for a station especially if there’s a real microscope on the station to compliment the activity.

  • Illustrate It – For this station you can have the students draw either a prepared slide e.g. onion cells or you can use the included photo.

  • Read It – Cellular Life. This is a 2 page newspaper on the history of cell theory.
