Science Stations

 

  • Sort It – students will sort the planets of the solar system into the correct order.

 

  • Research It – at this station the students will use a gravity simulator and experiment with gravity simulations.

 

  • Read It – at this station the students read about what gravity is and recent advances in our understanding.

 

  • Infer It – students are shown a sheet showing pictures relating to gravity with a short description. The questions on the station sheet will ask them to infer from these pictures/descriptions.

 

  • Graph It – students are given a table of data relating to gravity and must graph the data.

 

  • llustrate It – students illustrate their understanding of a black hole. Descriptive text is provided to aid their understanding.
