Science Stations

 

  • Visual Station – at this station the students will see various optical stimuli and answer questions in their student record sheets based on their observations.

 

  • Auditory Station – at this station the students will go to a Youtube link to listen to auditory illusions and answer questions based on the clip.

 

  • Reading Station – here the students will read a short account of how the brain sends and receives sensory messages and answer questions in their student record sheets.

 

  • Identify Station – this station allows the students to explore and identify the functions of the various parts of the brain.

 

  • Rapid Response Station – at this station the students will see how quickly they can respond to a stimulus. Their competitive spirit will show!

 

  • Memorize – here the students are presented with 12 animals. They have 30s to try to memorize the position of each animal. They will need a timer (stopwatch or similar) for this station.
