Science Stations
► Illustrate It – students are given a timeline of earth’s geologic history condensed into 12 hours. They will color/shade a clock showing how life has evolved.
► Describe It – At this station the students are given photos of fossils. They will describe and answer questions based on their observations.
► Tech It – students go to a web page and read about the fossils on the Jurassic Coast. They will also watch a short video (no sound) explaining how fossils are formed.
► Read It – at this station the students will read about the dinosaur extinction and the evidence that it was caused by a meteorite.
► Explore It – students explore a simplified diagram showing the evolution of life and answer questions on it.
